Important change made to wood handles: Victorinox cares about the environment and due to new protections for Rosewood Trees, this item will no longer have the original Rosewood handles. The handles have been changed to maple wood that is stained in rosewood color.

Our classic, traditional Maple Wood handle is designed to always provide maximum comfort. Maple Wood handles feature a carved handle design with the unique beauty of natural Maple Wood, extra durable. A slicer serves a similar function to a carving knife, although it is generally longer and narrower. Slicers are often more flexible and as such are better suited for slicing ham or fish.

High carbon stainless steel blades are hand finished in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. These blades do not discolour or stain. These knives are specially ground and tempered so that they can be re-sharpened repeatedly, keeping a sharp edge throughout their lifetime.
